| 0:00.0 | I had probably the most spectacular crash. Compared to 10 years ago? Since the great crash of 2015. Oh, man, don't hurt yourself. What that? Well, you obviously are here, so you didn't hurt yourself too bad. A nice shot on the day off, though. Going, you know, relatively fast. For me, I'm not that fast. Yeah. But my, I want to say it was my, yeah, my right ski gets stuck in a little snowbank. All right. |
| 0:23.1 | How far are you going? Yeah. But my, I want to say it was my, yeah, my right ski gets stuck in a little snowbank. |
| 0:22.7 | All right. |
| 0:23.0 | How far are you going, are you like on a major hill coming straight down? |
| 0:26.9 | No, yeah, I'm on intermediate hill. |
| 0:29.4 | Okay. |
| 0:29.8 | Or what they'd call a blue hill, and I'm cruising down, and then this ski gets snuck in a snowbank, |
| 0:37.4 | and I stop very quickly. And when you stop very quickly like that, it jettisons you from your ski. Wow. Oh, yeah, also the key, okay, the ski flies off. Yeah, and I'm perpendicular to the ground, and I'm doing a, yeah, I'm in a cartwheel position. Wow. And I complete one cartwheel, and then I slam the other ski on the ground, and I lose that one as well. So I do another cartwheel. Okay. I want to say this, because no matter how much we exercise at our age and do is what we can, and even in Pouloson, Nick's age, how much we exercise and try to stay in decent shape, nothing prepares you from falling. No. I don't want to fall anymore. Yeah, but here. Do you guys want to fall? No. What prepares you for falling is previous falls. Well, I'm just saying, but you don't know your body, you can't stop yourself from doing things when you fall, maybe a little bit, but you're still going to hit the ground. Was it soft snow at least? |
| 1:29.1 | Yes, I landed in soft snow. Okay, that's it. |
| 1:32.1 | Woke up the next day and it's like, I hit pretty hard. I'm stopped pretty quickly. And I got |
| 1:37.9 | launched out of those skis pretty quickly. Why don't I feel anything? But I was just lucky to |
| 1:43.2 | landed a bunch of soft snow. |
| 1:45.0 | That is it. Right. And then I just had a problem. We trip. We just tripped walking through the house |
| 1:49.0 | and fall down. To fetch the one ski. And then a young lady up the hill fetched my first ski for |
| 1:53.9 | him. He said it was all very good. Here you go, old man. And we were talking about, is there |
| 1:58.1 | his peepa around? |
| 2:04.3 | You should old guy hit that bank? |
| 2:09.0 | Yeah, people who just start skiing, the most difficult thing is getting on and off the ski lift. |
| 2:09.8 | Yeah. |
| 2:10.0 | The other thing that's really difficult about starting skiing is falling. |
| 2:14.2 | You're going to fall. |
| 2:16.0 | And it's exhausting. |
