All right. Laura writes, back when I was young and my best friend was a barmaid,

she told me about the best way to get tips from men.

If a man was there with male friends by himself, you, of course, flirted with the man.

However, if there was a girlfriend or a wife, you had to get the wife on your side.

She would then flatter the wife by saying things.

She liked her hair or her shirt.

Commissory with the wife about the behavior of the husband.

She said that men were easy to convince to give tips, but if a husband or a boyfriend gave a large tip to a pretty young girl,

and the girlfriend, her wife doesn't like her, is jealous.

Then the wife would get angry so the husband knows how the wife will react and will tip accordingly.

You like her, don't you?

Saw this when I got older in full action, or my husband and I went to Twin Peaks because it's mostly men that go there.

For lunch, I was one of the few female patrons, and the scandal of

client-clied waitress was definitely trying to butter me up to be sure to get a better tip.

I just kind of giggled inside as I watched her behave differently at the tables full of men,

but good on her for knowing how to make her money.

Speaking of Twin Peaks, see that Hooters is bankrupt.

The more I read about that,

apparently the younger generation doesn't appreciate the restaurants anymore.

No, they seem to be going by the wayside.
