So as the Giants pursue Matthew Stafford, here's the latest from the Combine.

It has now come out that Tom Brady met with Matthew Stafford at his home, one of his many homes in Montana, where they went skiing together.

And Tom Brady, I guess, tried to whisper sweet nothings into Matthew's ear and explain why Vegas should be his future stopped.

Slooper.

So far, Tom has struggled with the whispering into ears.

Remember, he tried to get Ben Johnson a coach's team.

He failed on that one.

He tried to get Mike Vrable to coach his team.

He failed on that one.

Now, he did end up with a pretty damn good, you know,

compensate third choice, if you will,

in the future Hall of Famer and Pete Carroll, but clearly all the

kissing ass of Ben Johnson did not work. So he's now trying to do the same thing for Matthew

Stafford. For giant fans, we do have some good news. And no, unfortunately, it's not that John Mara

took Matthew Stafford rock climbing. It's that the Giants have met with Matthew Stafford's representatives.

So it's not as sexy as the skiing and the Tom Brady, but the Giants are clearly interested.

And so according to various Giant Pete reporters, Dan Duggan being one of them, that's at least the one I read,

I think Ryan Dunleavy as well. So give them all their flowers. They all are getting the same leak at the exact same time.

So that's kind of cool.

The Giants also met with Matthew Stafford's people.
