Two people have been charged with drug possession after Trooper said they were asleep in a car going four miles an hour on Interstate 44.

Court documents said at 625, barely, on Sunday morning.

This would have been last Sunday morning in Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was driving on I-44-mile marker.

He saw an SUV that was driving very slowly.

The troopers checked the SUV speed by driving the same speed, which was four miles an hour.

According to the documents, the trooper turned on the lights,

siren pulled up alongside the SUV.

Trooper said they could see a man asleep in the passenger seat.

One of them was parked into cruise and began walking alongside the SUV.

They knocked on the passenger window to get the people inside to wake up, and then the man sat

up in the driver's seat and stopped the vehicle. The dude was sleeping behind the wheel. And he had drugs in the car. Oh, yeah. Was it just idling forward at that speed?
