O great creator of the sky Who wouldest not the floods on high

With earthly water to confound

But maids the firmament they're bound

The floods above thou didst ordain

The floods below thou didst restrain

That moisture might a temper heat

Lest the parched earth should ruin meat

Upon our souls good lord bestow, thy gift of grace in endless flow,

lest some renewed deceit or while of former sin should us be guile. Let faith discover heavenly light, so shall its rays direct us right. And let this

faith each ever chase, and never give to falsehood place. Grant this, O Father, ever won, with Christ thy soul begotten Son and Holy Ghost whom all adore reigning and blessed forevermore

Amen our eyes are fixed intently on the Lord, waiting for his merciful help. To you have I lifted up my eyes, you who dwell in the heavens?

My eyes like the eyes of slaves on the hand of their lords, like the eyes of a servant,

on the hand of her mistress. So our eyes are on the Lord of her mistress.

So our eyes are on the Lord, our God, till ye show us His mercy.
