As we're taping this on Monday morning, We have a very interesting guest today. Earl Johnson,

his son, D'Andre Johnson, who came out of junior college and signed with FAU to play quarterback

a couple months ago. Many of you may remember the name D'Andre Johnson, former Blue Chip

freshman at FSU, but in July of 2015 was dismissed from the program

after video emerged of him hitting a woman at a bar. Johnson later went on Good Morning,

America, to apologize to the woman and subsequently ended up at East Mississippi Community

College, aka Last Chance, you.

We're going to get into that story, as still alluded to at the top.

It's a very emotional interview.

The reason why we wanted to have Earl on is because this issue is not a one-off.

The violence against women's subject comes up often, not just in sports,

but certainly it has in our little corner of the world in sports. And the case of Joe Mixen,

especially in the last year, I think, as an escalated as a prime example of that, where Earl

Johnson and Deontre kind of come into this is what happened on video that night from the bar.

I think there's a lot more that, you know, in the wake of it and the steps that this family and he took and have taken to show that he was contrite and have been determined to do since then, I think is relevant here as we're going forward in a very important subject.
