I'm John Batto with James Taranto, the editorial features editor of the Wall Street

We're discussing the Mr. Roberts's

court and Mr. Trump's executive. And the relationship is strong minds on both sides. Recently,

there's been an exciting melodramatic incident in which the court seems to rebuke the president

over decision-making having to do with

migration. However, we're addressing where it is that the court has anticipated a strong executive,

not a feeble executive. That would be a word that was used in a federalist paper, which is why

I bring it up. I like the word feeble. It seems vouchsafed by the Federalists.

But we turn to two stories that came up often during the Biden administration

and are part of the Trump administration now.

One has to do with college admissions.

This is students for fair admissions versus Harvard, 23,

linking to the University of California versus Bakke decision of 78.

How so, James?

Well, the Bakke decision, this was the first case that went before the Supreme Court

on the issue of so-called affirmative action in college admissions.
