Well, all right then. This week on the show, we are going to be chatting about the 1979 miniseries adaptation of Salem's Lot.

This will mark the final episode of our Salem's Lot coverage, Matt.

And I want to know right off the bat before we get into the details,

what did you think of this week's movie?

Well, I have mixed feelings about it, to be honest.

This is not going to be one of those slam dunk, man, what a terrible King adaptation discussions, nor is it going to be one of those, wow, what a masterpiece discussions.

It's interesting.

And I think one of the more interesting things about it is they did change quite a lot of

stuff.

Some of it I thought was smart.

Some of it I didn't think was smart.

And overall,

I just come out of it kind of mixed.

And I guess feeling like it was kind of long.

Yeah. That is true. I think what I originally kind of sat down to think about how we were

going to structure this week's episode, in my mind, I had this idea that we'd like talk about

the movie as a movie first and then break out the discussion and not talk about it as an adaptation until a certain point in the show.

But I kind of realized quickly as I was kind of coalescing my thoughts on this movie,
