0:13.6	One of the foremost and most important and prominent promises that the current Trump-Vance administration made during the campaign was that
0:23.1	grocery prices would go down on day one, which was January 20th, by the way, in case anybody's
0:29.0	keeping track, that egg prices would go down on day one.
0:33.9	And the opposite has taken place.
0:36.0	And in fact, it seems as those supply chain problems, they just
0:40.7	follow Donald Trump around like those STDs he avoided, which were his Vietnam or something
0:47.5	like that. Remember that whole thing? This is very much another one of these you over promised and now people should hold you accountable.
0:57.0	So let me tell you what's going on and then we'll get to the rationing.
1:00.0	Egg prices started at 613 per dozen when Donald Trump became president of the United States on January 20th.
1:11.6	Now, within those first 10 days of Trump's presidency, egg prices went to 709 a dozen.
1:20.1	That was an increase of about 15%.
1:23.6	That initial promise, don't worry, the prices will come down, seemed not to be happening.
1:29.3	This then led to what the start of this week, a new, all-time, forever record high egg price of 748 a dozen.
1:40.3	And I told you about that at the beginning of the week as well.
1:43.3	Did egg prices reverse?
1:46.1	They did not.
1:47.6	Egg prices are up once again, 768 a dozen, up more than 25% under Donald Trump.
1:57.9	It hasn't even been one month yet.
