The Okay, so welcome to the show.

This is, as I said, just a moment ago, the first anniversary of the show. It's being released a little bit early.

Officially the first anniversary is July 16th, but this is being released on July 1st.

Because the topic is the American War for Independence, and I felt like with Fourth of July coming up,

this was a pretty good time to release

this episode so just as way of introduction this is myself and chris fernandez peckham of the

age of victoria podcast just kind of going back and forth discussing several myths and several

issues from the war for independence.

And so you're going to get both the American and the British perspective on this.

The episode is a little bit longer than normal, quite a bit longer than normal.

It is over an hour, about an hour and 50 minutes.

So I don't want to give too much away but I hope you enjoyed it

we had a great time recording it

and we hope to do more of this sort of thing in the future
