0:53.1	Since Martin Luther King Day is coming right up, I wanted to share with you some events that are going on here in Arizona,
0:55.2	but also in Utah and Idaho. So throughout the episode, I'll be pausing to share those events,
1:00.7	but I wanted to start with the ones in Arizona. There are quite a few, and I picked just three of them.
1:07.4	The first one is the East Valley Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade and festival. That's here in
1:12.4	downtown Mesa on Monday, January 20th at 11 a.m. The second is Martin Luther King Day March,
1:20.5	which starts at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 20th, and it starts at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church
1:26.5	on 15th Street in Jefferson down in
1:29.2	Phoenix. So everybody meets at the church at 8.30 a.m. and then you march through the streets of Phoenix
1:36.5	all the way down to the Margaret T. Hans Park, and at the park, you'll be greeted with a giant festival.
1:43.8	I've been before. We went when I was very young as a
1:47.6	child, and I just remember food and celebration, but also a great atmosphere of like somber remembrance
1:55.9	of Dr. Martin Luther King. The third event goes right along with that March, and it's the festival
2:01.6	that I just mentioned. If you aren't up for the march or you can't make it, the festival is at the
2:08.0	park and it starts at 10 and goes all the way till 4 p.m. So you can go anytime during the day.
2:14.0	If neither of those are close to you, I encourage you so much to please go and look for an event in your area.
2:20.2	Almost every city in Phoenix has events on Martin Luther King Day, all the way from Flagstaff, Glendale, Peoria, everything.
