Hello and welcome to the Thursday May 2nd

0:09.7

edition of Tesla Daily on official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we are talking about the After watching Tesla's autonomy day, there wasn't a ton of new information in this video.

0:25.3

However, I think the biggest point to me was that it just reemphasized Musk's confidence in their progress towards full self-driving.

0:34.0

One of the concerns that I had going into Tesla's autonomous investor day was that

0:38.0

Tesla was using that opportunity to hopefully shift the narrative a little bit from simply looking at vehicle

0:45.8

production and vehicle deliveries. Obviously the autonomous investor day was

0:49.7

1:35.4

than an authentic showing of an actual positive underlying element of the business.

1:40.3

I think heading into the autonomous investor day, the timing of that event made it easy to

1:45.0

question whether that would be more of the former or more of the latter.

1:49.4

Thankfully after watching the autonomous investor day in its entirety and I think even after watching the autonomous investor day in its entirety,

1:53.5

and I think even after watching this interview

1:56.0

with Lex Friedman, that is further cemented my opinion,

1:59.3

that it is more of the latter.

2:01.0

The latter, again, being a showcasing of actual positive underlying progress in the business.
