This week on the show, we are beginning part three, the deserted village and chatting

about the first 18 sections of chapter 14, the lot four of Salem's lot.

As the vampire slaying Katte makes its first moves against Barlow, they find out that he's already just a few steps ahead of them.

Matt, what did you think about this week's reading?

This is great.

I think we're moving into climax.

You know, we, we, uh, the, I really like the the beginning bit that we're going to talk about a, you know, a few seconds where, um,

where we're just sort of zoom all around the town and see how many people have,

have been made vampires. It really gives you a sense of, of just, you know, the exponential

escalation of this thing. And then of course, the fact that our characters really make

their first sort of organized, uh, uh, you know, venture. They're, they're all fully on the same page, fully taking

this seriously. I think, you know, I think we'll highlight it when we get to it. But Ben has what

feels to me like his first moment of truly getting it, which feels very important. So overall,

really enjoyed it. This was one of those weeks where obviously I was super annoyed at having to stop when we did.

But yeah.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that.
