This week on the show, we are chatting about chapter 12, Mark and chapter 13, Father Callahan,

as we conclude part two of Salem's Lot, the Emperor of Ice Cream.

I forgot to say that last time, Matt, part two concluding with these two chapters.

Yeah, well, that makes sense, actually, because we end with our goddess of death, don't we?

Yeah, we do. We definitely do. Mark and Susan decide to go into the Marston House to slay a vampire, but forget that they don't have superpowers.

Well, okay, one of them doesn't have superpowers.

Then Father Callahan is recruited officially into the content.

Matt, what did you think of this week's reading?

Well, that first chapter is true a roller coaster.

Can't wait to hit that one. You really got me. You really got me there.

I can't wait to talk about that. And yeah, I mean, I don't know if this is, we're well into the meat of the book at this point, right?

Yeah, for sure. I mean, we've kind of mentioned this already, but the next chapter, chapter 14 is the final chapter of the book.

It is 150 pages long, I think more than that, actually, but it is the final chapter of the book.

And so we're kind of, we're definitely moving into the third act after the end of this thing.
