0:10.2	In our last episode, we wrapped up Season 1 of The West Wing.
0:13.4	Our plan had been to take a week off, then bring you the premiere of Season 2 in a special two-part episode.
0:18.9	But then, just a few days ago, we finally had the chance to sit down and talk to the man himself, Aaron Sorkin.
0:25.4	So we'll be discussing in the shadow of Two Gunman, parts 1 and 2 next week.
0:29.5	But first, we're very excited to present our conversation with Aaron, talking about this interstitial moment that we're at right now.
0:35.2	The end of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2.
0:38.0	Aaron Sorkin, of course, is the creator of the show we all love, The West Wing.
0:42.4	He also wrote the films A Few Good Men, Trolley Wilson's War, The American President, and The Social Network for which he won an Oscar.
0:48.7	In addition to The West Wing, he was the creator of the TV show's Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and the newsroom.
0:54.8	We only had about an hour with him, so we had the mics rolling before he arrived, and we just jumped right in.

1:08.8	And for the first several episodes, I was reading the NBC synopsis of the show, and they were worded so strangely.
1:14.8	They are hot.
1:15.8	It would drive me crazy, and...
1:17.8	Oh, I can only imagine.
1:19.2	Any promotional material.
1:21.2	That was really the only real estate that NBC had control of.
1:26.2	Right.
1:27.2	And that's why our promos every week, no matter what the episode coming up was about, the world was always coming to an end on The West Wing.
