All right, we're in first Peter chapter five and we've spent nine weeks in

first Peter. This is the last sermon next week. We'll jump into second Peter and

the big idea today is about leadership and that is this that as crisis

increases leadership must increase. As things get harder, leaders need to lead

better and that's the world that we live in and that's the world that Peter is

writing to. And one thing I just want to share with you, we're all leaders. Some

of you you are parents, you lead kids. Some of you are big brothers, big sisters.

You lead the little ones. Some of you are grandparents. You've got whole

generations of your family. Some of you are business leaders. Maybe managers are

small business owners. Some of you are ministry leaders. Some of you are coaches.

Some of you are teachers. We're all leading someone. Someone is looking to us to

set an example and help them make decisions for their for their flourishing. And

what God does to prepare us to help others is He allows leaders to go through

experiences first and through that we learn lessons both through our successes

and our failures that then we turn around and use to help others who are following

us. This is modeled in the life of the man who writes first Peter, his name is Peter.

He had a three year master class with Jesus Christ on leadership. Jesus is the

greatest leader in the history of the world. And Peter spent three years in a very
