And I am so honored and excited to tell you that Micheline do clap is back. Welcome. Wow. Thank you so much. That's really, that was exciting. I like it. Oh, the author of Hunt Gather Parent. You know, you have these experiences, Michaeline. This is how mine is. Where sometimes I'm like, I don't even think they're going to say yes once. And then if they say yes twice, they're like, this is fantastic. This is a book I talk about all the time. I talk about I have these little phrases in my head from it, Michaeline, like in some cultures, they never yell at kids. And one of the most important skills is that kids can look around and see a need and fill it and all of these things. I mean, this book, obviously, it's got so many reviews. It is a New York Times bestseller, what ancient cultures can teach us about the lost art of raising happy, helpful little humans. Thank you for coming on once. Thank you for coming on twice. Thank you for writing the book. Oh, well, thank you for everything you do in your book. And I mean, right, thank you for all that you've given parents. I appreciate it. So I love it because, you know, I just talked to this woman Linda McGurk. She wrote a book called Rain or Shine Mama. She's written a couple books. But she grew up in Sweden and then moved here and was raising her kids in the U.S. And in Sweden, they take their kids outside all the time. It's just kind of like what you do. She said, I grew up.

It was like, you just go outside. It's good for you. That's it. And I came here. And she said, I'd be outside with my kids in the winter and people would pull over in their car. She lives in Indiana. that they pull over there and they'd be like,

is something wrong?

She's like, no, like you just go outside.

And so what she said was she thought that how she grew up was a universal parenting practice

that's the phrase she used universal parenting practice and so this is the situation that you're in

it's like you traveled to all these different places through your work. And then especially when you had your

daughter, then you're starting to look at people do things different in other parts of the world.

And for those like myself who haven't seen that firsthand, you brought that back to everyone.

Can you just talk about your career? I mean, it's really, it's really unique. It is. It is a little crazy.

Yeah, I spent almost 10 years as a chemist, like working in the lab, biophysical chemistry.

So I was like a biochemist and a physical chemist. And I started writing in the lab after the, after working in the lab.
