Thank you so much for having me Jenny. Yeah I'm

thrilled you have so many interesting things to talk about. Carol I'm just going

to read your bio real quick. It's a good one. It's a little long but I'm going to go through it.

So it said you thought you'd be a shrink or a professor who trained shrinks, but life said no go this way which I just love because I think that's how all of our lives are aren't they?

Our paths just kind of go different ways so you are a 2018 TEDx speaker and author, you are a coach, a trainer, a

keynoter who teaches that relationships are at the heart of all our success.

Clients with growth goals turn to Carol for unexpected strategies to

expand success through better relationships. This is super interesting. The surprise in Carol's

self-aware success strategies is their origin in her first career of early care and education.

So you have a B. A. A. in Child Development, a B. A. in anthropology, and an MA in early childhood education and a PhD in developmental psychology.

So Carol, how long did you go to school?

It seems like forever.

The PhD alone took 13 years because I was working full time for a lot of that.

Oh Carol, good for you. That's a lot of persistence. Wow. Yeah. That's an important asset that I came out of my kind of crazy childhood with

persistence oh yeah so you say your early learning career was the foundation for your

astonishing second act and you pivoted and worked through your adverse childhood

experiences which sounds like it was pretty hard. You say most kids don't survive that kind of

childhood intact but now that now that you're here you have come up with these

models and ways to revolutionize success to relationships
