0:31.6	So happy to be here. Gabby was saying that this is the first podcast about this book that you guys have done together.
0:37.0	So I'm like this, and this is the first podcast I've ever done with more than one other person.
0:41.0	So it's like, this is a party yeah I think it's super fun it is you know
0:46.4	Gabby and I have been doing a lot of interviews for this book we've been so thrilled by the
0:50.5	reception of the book so many people interested. I mean the book is
0:53.7	written for middle schoolers but so many adults. Yeah I really like it. I got a whole lot out of it.
1:01.9	It's a beautiful book. So, okay, so you, the both of you, Gabby
1:06.1	and Claire, are National Geographic Explorers. You know, that's what it says in your
1:12.2	bio in the back, and you can you can tell us a little bit more about yourself but man that caught my intention
1:17.4	How do you how do you become a National Geographic explorer?
1:22.4	Well, we, yeah, we both have received grants from the National Geographic Society for projects.
1:29.5	So we have applied to them and said, here's an idea, here's an expedition we want to do and they
1:33.8	have provided funding and support and so that's the way that you become a part of
1:38.1	the National Geographic community and there's a community of thousands of people
