Summary

In this heartfelt and honest conversation, Ginny Yurich sits down with Alyssa Bethke, author of Satisfied and When Doing It All Is Undoing You. Alyssa shares her journey of navigating motherhood, homeschooling, and life’s challenges while finding hope, joy, and contentment in the ordinary. They dive into the pressures of modern motherhood, emotional labor, and how social media exacerbates the feeling of "not enough." Alyssa offers practical wisdom on embracing life’s limitations, letting go of perfectionism, and focusing on deep desires rather than surface-level goals. Through personal stories, including the power of cold plunges and her homeschooling journey, Alyssa encourages listeners to embrace the beauty of life's unpredictability and trust in the process of becoming. This episode is filled with warmth, relatability, and powerful reminders for moms and women everywhere. ** Get your copy of When Doing it All is Undoing You here Learn more about Alyssa here ** Download your free 1000 Hours Outside tracker here >> https://www.1000hoursoutside.com/trackers Find everything you need to kick off your 1000 Hours Outside Journey here >> https://www.1000hoursoutside.com/blog/allthethings Order of copy of Ginny's newest book, Until the Streetlights Come On here >> https://amzn.to/3RXjBlN Learn more about your ad choices.
