And I am your host and the guy who did it. I bit the bullet and I bought a turkey vest. I've been needing one for quite a while now, and I'll tell you a little bit

more about that here in just a minute, but right now, we are 212 days, nine hours, 40 minutes and 41 seconds

away from opening day of spring turkey season in Alabama.

So after 16 years, I broke down and bought a new turkey hunting vest.

Actually, I should say after one year, I broke down and bought another new turkey hunting

vest.

So if that confuses you, let me explain a little bit. Last summer, I bought the

Alps Outdoors Grand Slam turkey vest because I was in dire need for a new turkey vest. As my current

vest was about 15 years old at the time. It had served me well.
