I had gotten a scholarship from my dad's union and I had to go to the union for the ceremony.

Jessica Custer grew up in Hardwick, New Jersey.

She graduated from high school in 1995.

They give a little speech about your high school history and then they say what school you're

going to before you come up to collect your plaque and when they said, you know, in Jessica

Custer is going to be going to Oxford, like, you know, the whole room gas.

Holy God.

Oh my God.

She got into it.

It was that reaction everywhere.

There was a map on the well at our high school showing where each of the seniors from that

year had been accepted for our college the next year.

Jen Mills lived across the country in Redmond, Washington.

And it was mainly a map of the U.S.

So I asked them to add England to the map so that they could show that I was going to

Warnborough slash Oxford.

So about that Warnborough slash Oxford thing, the University of Oxford isn't just one institution.

Oxford is made up of almost 40 individual colleges and every student attends one of them.

They have separate histories and their own dining facilities and residence halls.

They have names like Exeter College, Lincoln College and Hartford College.

Jen and Jessica got accepted to Warnborough College.
