Welcome to a brand new day of life. Happy Friday, my friends.

Woo! It is good to get to be alive today. I love me some Friday. It's fantastic if you're

listening actually on schedule, but if you're listening like, you know, on Monday or Tuesday,

hey! It's a great day to be alive, whatever day it is listening like, you know, on Monday or Tuesday, hey, it's a great day

to be alive, whatever day it is. So thankful that I get to spend this time with you. The title of

today's episode of the Big Life Devotional podcast is, will you trust? Romans 15, verse 13, it's Paul's prayer.

He says, I pray that God, the source of hope,

will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with

confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. So Paul is telling us, God is the source of our hope. Hope means you have something to look forward to,

something to cling to, something that you're counting on. And you may not know how and you may not

know when, but you know something good is going to happen in the future.

That is hope. Hope that it's all going to work out. Hope that you're going to make it through.

Hope that every promise will be fulfilled. Hope that the plans for your life are good your goals and your good works

are not the source of that hope your perfect plan and your perfect follow-through isn't the source of that hope.
