Bryce Lewis is a competitive drug-free powerlifter and powerlifting coach with ten years of coaching experience and 13 years of competitive experience at the local, national, and international levels. As of 2023, he has become a national champion four times across two weight classes and held world records in the deadlift and the total in the IPF. He's also one of only 24 people to ever total over 2,000lbs at 105kg (231lbs) or lighter, drug-tested or otherwise. His highest in-competition lifts are a 755lb squat, a 490.5lb bench press, and a 799lb deadlift.

 

 

 

Bryce remains a student of the sport with a robust curiosity for all things powerlifting. That curiosity has led to research and interest in sports psychology, the athletic experience, training optimization, and the various intersections of being an athlete with philosophy, identity, and purpose. Through his coaching organization, The Strength Athlete, he advocates for balanced, effective training plans, healthy attachment to training, and the experience of being an athlete.
