Hey, I'm Ricky Purden, Talent Relations Manager here at Marvel.

Yay! Yay! So no intern this week, no Ben Morris this week. He's still on the DL, but he's tweeting a little bit.

What happened to your intern? He died. Oh. Yeah.

No, Alec has actually gone on to, uh, he finished up his internship with us, he's now going to animation.

Ricky, before we get into everything,

explain who you are and what you do here at Marvel.

So I work in the Talent Management Department. I basically am a talent scout for Marvel. I go to conventions, I get emails with portfolios, I do portfolio reviews, I stay in contact with all of our freelancers, writers, artists, mostly artists, and that's everything from

pencilers to inkers to colorists.

Just to keep them in the loop with what's going on here and see if there's anything that they need from us

and if there's anything that we need from them and I keep my eye out for new talent

too. Yeah. How long you been working at Marvel now? I started here March I started in March so it's only been a few months.

No, it's been like six months, five months? Four point five months.

Yeah, four months, 12 days, and 11 hours.

Ricky and I have known each other for a very long time.

He is part of the wizard's sisterhood.
