Hi, everybody. Paul Care is here. My name's Ernie Harwell. It's double-header time for the Tigers on a beautiful day in Boston. This is the day that so great that I guess if Bernie Banks was here, he'd probably say, let's play three or four games. And the Tigers trying to get out of their batting slump, trying to end up this ship that's been a disaster so far on a little more optimistic note. They have won, one and lost five on the trip up until now. And they have had their problems getting the base hits in the run. So they're hoping that they can break it out of here today in this doubleheader against the Red Sox.

The Red Sox have won the first two games of the series.

It'll be Jack Billingham on the mound against Alan Ripley in game number one.

And in the second game, we'll see Jim Slayton beyond the mound of the

Tigers and he'll be working against Jim Wright all four those pitches are right-handed

we again will play before a capacity crowd every game here has been a sellout in

the Fenway Park for this weekend series looking forward to the, and then the Tigers will be heading home for a week home stay at the Tiger Stadium.
