Football League playoff game.

And the on-again, off-again playoffs are finally underway tonight, and all of the teams involved

to put their problems aside and are now concentrating on winning football games.

And a game already underway in Orlando, the Florida Blazers are meeting the Philadelphia

bell in a nationally televised game.

The winner will meet Memphis next Friday in Memphis. Here at Anaheim, the Hawaiians meet the

Southern California Sun. The winner of this game will go on to meet Birmingham next Wednesday in

either Birmingham or possibly in Hawaii if the Hawaiians win tonight. The Hawaiians and the

Sun have already played twice during the regular season.

Southern California won the first game 38 to 31 during the first week of the season here at Anaheim.

And three weeks ago in Honolulu Stadium, the Hawaiians gained a measure of revenge beating the Sun 29 to 8.

Tonight's game will feature Southern California, the Western Division winner with a 13 and 7 record

against the strong finishing Hawaiians, who were 9 and 11 overall, good for second place in the

West, and who went 7 and 3 during the second half of the season.

The Sun also went 7 and 3, but they lost three of their last four ball games.

And tonight's game will feature two of

the best passing attacks in the league. Southern California, the top ranked passing club,

led by rookie quarterback Tony Adams, who before this game received a trophy as the son's most

valuable player this season. And the Hawaiians are led by the veteran Randy Johnson, who's completed

over 57% of his passes since joining the team,

and wide receiver Tim Delaney, the leading pass catcher in the league,
