Well, baseball is the prime topic right now.

Jerry Royce has taken the mound, and he'll be going against Lou Brock, Teddy Seismore,

and Reggie Smith here in the first inning.

And the big thing to beat St. Louis, they say, is to keep a guy named Lou Brock off the basebed,

and try to keep the guy named Ted Simmons in the ballpark.

That can sometimes be a very difficult thing.

If you look at Brock's credentials, 107 stolen bases, more than anybody in the history of baseball in one season, beating Ty Cobbs, Mark, and then Maury Will. And he'll be leaving it off here, and at the age 35 or 36, I'm not sure what his exact age is. We'll check it in the book book but he seemingly like wine gets better with age

and one of the key reasons to it i think is his philosophy he said you can't pick buck

things too much you got to learn to bend once in a while and he could have been able to do that

and only things bother me too much he was born in 1939 so that doesn't make them 35 years of

age he's still playing great baseball he's sitting at 311, three home runs driven in 46.

The Pirates, a game and a half back, and they have done well in this ballpark recently

and particularly against Eastern Division ball clubs.
