Now, early in yesterday's game, all we'd say through about four or five innings,

it would appear that as often as they could against left-hand or McNally,

right-hand batters especially were going to the opposite field, just as Campanaris did his first trip today against the Southpaw slants of Quayor. Now here's Joe Rudy. He had a double in his first trip yesterday as he looped a base hit, the two-bagger, just inside the right-field foul line. Rudy, a right-hand sticker, batted 267 for the year.
