Hi everybody, this is Bill Rizzuto back at Yankee Stadium as we get set for the second game of this

twilight doublehead. And in case you miss the first game, a brief recap. The Yankees won at three to nothing behind Chris Peterson.

The Yankees had three runs, nine hits, no errors. The Angels, no runs, nine hits, and two errors.

Fritz Peterson now has 112 and lost seven,

and Rudy Mayer, the loser, he is won seven and lost eight.

And the Yankees have now won seven out of nine

and are 18 and 11 since the All-Starbrain.

So they are really going great guns,

and the Yankees scored their runs.

One in the first inning, Clark single, was sacrificed the second by Munson,

and Roy White drove him in with a single.

And then in the third inning, with one out Munson singled and Mercer single,

Roy White double a center field to drive in two runs.

So Roy had a hand in all three runs,

driving in two runs and scoring one.

The other run was driven in by runs for Boda's ground ball

with the bases loaded.

So that's the way the first game ended,
