In the Bay Area, and the Angels suffering last night what has to be the most bitter defeat for them so far this year.

Apparently having the ball game won, only to see it tied up by Dave Duncan's second home run of the game in the bottom of the ninth, and then the A's finally winning it in 13 by a score of 7 to 5. So the Angels try to gather their forces and get a split up here in Oakland before heading to the Far East to take on the Yankees, the Washington Senators, and the Boston Red Sox to conclude the road trip. While the Angels are in the East, the A's also will be there. They will be playing a weekend series against Boston, and then they move into New York and then on down to Washington before returning home. And as we mentioned, the Angels try to gather their forces.
