Good evening everybody and welcome to Baltimore Oriole Baseball. This is Scott Thompson along with Bill Donald at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, where tonight the Oriole and the California Angels will attempt to find out of double-headers.

Weather conditions in and around the Baltimore area are still threatening, and the forecast is for showers, with a possibility of course, among those showers, the thunderstorms.

It is a little overcast as we look out to the north from our broadcasting vantage point here at the stadium,

and the wind that was in the west this afternoon, and it's swung around now, and it's coming straight down out of the north,

and it could bring a few showers. However, perhaps they will be of a,

you know, a very short duration and we will be able to get both our games in. At least that is the hope.

Tonight in game number one, the Angels are starting their fine young right-hander, Andy Measuresmith,

and the Orioles will counter with her outstanding left-hander Dave McNally.

Now for those of you who are going to score the game with us tonight, here are the batting orders in game number one.
