The weather much better tonight than last night.

It has warmed considerably.

We had a very strong wind during the afternoon period.

That wind has now subsided, and we have a very comfortable evening for the ball game.

The sky is partly cloudy, no threat of rain at all,

and the wind now has subsided to the point that it will not be a factor in the game,

at least not at the moment.

The starting pitchers in tonight's game,

for the Chicago Cubs, it will be veteran right-hander,

no pappas,

and on the mound for the New York Mets,

the flame-throwing right-hander, Nolan Ryan.
