where the Orioles and the twins are playing an unprecedented 12 o'clock noon ball game.

And the temperature in Cleveland early this morning was about 31 degrees,

and right now is standing somewhere in the vicinity of 36 degrees.

The Indians and the Orioles, if I did say the twins, I stand corrected.

We'll attempt it this afternoon with a couple of left-handers,

Clayar for the Orioles and Sam McDowell for the Cleveland Indians.

We'll run down the starting lineups for you and then come back and talk a little bit about

Mezzar's Quayar and McDowell.

For manager Earl Weaver's Orioles, this afternoon, the batting order reads as follows.

Leading off and playing in left field will be Merv Rettonmon.

Batting number two, the Oriole second baseman Dave Johnson.

Batting number three, first baseman Boog Powell.

The number four hitter will be right-fielder, Frank Robinson.

Batting five in center field will be Paul Blair.

The number six hitter will be third baseman, Brooks Robinson.

Batting seven will be catcher Andy Etcher Baron.

The number eight hitter, shortstop Mark Belanger,

and the pitcher will be Mike Quayar.

Now, for the homeestanding Cleveland Indians,

who are off to one of their very best starts in recent years,

Larry Brown will lead off and play shortstop.
