It will be game number 3 of the current series between the Yankees and the Oakland A's.

The club split a double-headed yesterday.

Oakland winning the first game 8 to 2, the Yankees coming back in the

night cap winning 4 to 1 behind the combined strong pitching of Stan Bonson and Lindy McDaniel,

and the booming bat of Pete Ward who had a single and a double to drive in three of the four Yankee runs.

And, well, you won't be surprised to hear that Pete Ward will be in the starting lineup again tonight at first

face for the New York Yankees because he did have the hot bats yesterday.
