And this afternoon, it's the third game, a rubber game in this three-game series, between the New York Yankees and the Washington Senators.

And so far in this series, we've got a couple of pitchers duels.

The first game, won by the Washington Senators, by a score two to one, as Dick Bosn's best at Steve Klein. And then in last night's ball game, the Yankees won at 3 to 0, as Stan Bonson was the winner over Jim Schellenbach. Last night's final score, 3 to 1, the Yankees winning it, getting three runs in the top of the eighth inning, and the senators coming back with a home run by Bernie Allen in the bottom half of the ninth inning. He was the lead-off battle at the bottom of the nine inning, and the home run, Chase Dan Thompson, but Lindy McDaniel came on to get the Senators one, two, three, and end the ball game. So it's all even, one game apiece in this series,
