As I'm chatting with strangers and the grocery stores I meander around

up and down the aisles sticking to the outside to keep things healthy sometimes.

I am often talking about what I do. What do you do? And I say, oh, I own a software company.

We teach people a new, better way of thinking about their money, and we sell them software. It's called Why what?

Wineab? Oh, okay. I use mint. Right. Okay, that's great.

What's the difference between Wineab and Mint? The difference is, this is what you tell your friends and family, the difference is Mint is like CSI, the beginning of the show, where you've got a body, there's been a death, something

tragic, and the rest of the hour-long drama is figuring out how the person died. So you're connecting a lot of

dots and everything happened in the past and you're looking back and you're trying to figure

it out but the person did die.

Wienab on the other hand is a lot like Minority Report, that Tom Cruise movie that did probably

okay, where you have precogs, right? They were a little creepy, but go with me they could

predict the future and the idea was that they could prevent the crime from

happening in the first place.

They would prevent the death.

Wienab has you focus forward.

Mint has you looking backward.

I think Mint's great for other reasons, big picture of your whole financial, you know,

system. And if you want to find a new online savings account to eke out another quarter of a percent or find a new credit card or something, they'll help you do with that.

But as it gets down to like the nitty gritty, Wineb helps you look forward and proactively

decide where to spend the money instead of looking back
