welcome back to another episode of the truth seekers podcast. We've been learning a lot about

Jesus and we've also been learning a lot about what it means to have faith in

Jesus. Do you remember what we said faith is?

Couple episodes back, we learn that faith is the substance of things hoped for but not yet seen or received.

Faith is believing or putting your trust in what we cannot see. We cannot see Jesus

but we believe that he is real. We cannot see the Holy Spirit but we have faith

that he lives inside of us. In today's episode

we are going to learn more about what it means to have faith in Jesus. In our

last episode we learned about Peter's statement of faith. When Jesus asked Peter, who do you

say I am? Peter answered with faith, he said, you are Christ, the son of the living God.

This was a bold declaration.

This meant that Peter believed that Jesus was God's son.

And to believe that Jesus was God's son

was to believe that Jesus was God's son was to believe that Jesus was God.

Peter was saying that Jesus was and is God.

After that Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves to pray.

As he was praying, all of the sudden the appearance of his face changed and his clothes became as bright as a

flash of lightning. Jesus was transfigured. Can you say transfigured? Do you know what it means to transfigure? To
