Butts and cuts and, and boots and... Hello everyone welcome back to the hamelcast I'm Jillian and you're listening to my

second episode with a nieces of niece of Fries of Freestyle love

supreme. Go back and check out episode 196 to hear about her experience growing up in

Queens and being a longtime fan of In The Heights and all things Lin Manuel Miranda, including FLS.

She also gives a lot of details about her experience at the Freestyle Love Supreme Academy,

how that led to her being on Broadway with them and working with her heroes.

It's amazing.

But we get more of that in this episode because when we last

left young niece she hadn't even audition for the Broadway run yet so at this point it's

May 2019 and Anisa had just finished the Academy back in March and yeah if you're

doing that math in your head

FLS opened on Broadway in September of 2019 just a few months later. This whole

thing happened in six months and it's unreal. So settle in, grab the popcorn,

whatever you have to do because this is an audition story for the ages, my friends.

Here we go. Then like a few weeks later I got a message from Shock he's like hey do you want to be a

teacher's assistant I was leaving to do do Freaky Friday at North Shore Music

Theater in Massachusetts so I was really sad I couldn't do that during one of the

classes for the summer but that would have been super fun.

And then like a week after that,

I got a random text this one weekend

asking me if I could do a performance with them tomorrow.
