Jerry Coleman and I are on hand to bring you all the action in this wind-up game of the three-game series

between the Yankees and the Kansas City Royals.

As we get ready for baseball here at Yankee Stadium in New York, ready to give you the starting lineups and some other information about

tonight's game, here is Jerry Coleman.

Jerry? We've got a lot of interesting baseball

coming up, a big bat day next Sunday,

and the action hot and heavy here at Yankee Stadium.

But tonight, for the Royals,

leading off and playing shortstop, Jack Hernandez.

Pat Kelly in center field, he'll bat second.

Joe Poy at third base, he'll bat third.

Mike Fiore hitting clean-up at first base.

Playing left field and batting fifth, Lou Pinella. The second basement is Jerry Adair.

He'll bat on the number six spot. Doing the catching and hitting seventh, Ellie Rodriguez.

Bob Oliver will play right field and hit eight, and Wally Bunker, the right-hander, will pitch,

and he'll be batting ninth.

For the Yankees, it'll be Horace Clark leading off at second base.

Jerry Kenny will be the third baseman, and Kenny will bat second.

Bobby Mercer will hit third and play right field.

And batting cleanup tonight, and this is a change as manager Ralph Halk has switched Pepitone and White.
