Starting for the Yankees, Pritz Peterson will be going for his sixth win of the year. Pritz has won

Nash this year has three wins, one defeat,

and this will be his first start against the Yankees in 1969.

Although Nash has won 40 games and lost 32 in his brief American League career,

his record against the Yankees has been only one win and four losses,
