So it seems like

a lot of members of the press have changed

their tune on the Yankees.

Nine out of ten of them picked the Yankees to finish less.

And you know, the press, they're not infallible.

I mean, they're supposed to be so-called experts, but last year, I'd say 90 out of 95 picked

the Red Sox to finish anywhere from 8th to 10th and what they

do would win the pennant. But the Yankees impressed quite a few people, including the press,

with their opening day win against the California Angels when Stadlemyer shut them out.

So they've got kind of things to say about the Yankees. But right now, before we go any farther, on New York Yankee Baseball, we pause for

station identification.
