We'll be going for the Cardinals and 22-year-old Mal Scottelmire,

who beat the Cardinals eight to three out at St. Louis.

They complete brute job for him.

We'll be pitching today for the Yankees. So this is now game five. Let's recap. Remember the first game? The Cardinals won 9 to 5 in St. Louis. The Yankees came back to win the second game, 8 to 3. Salamire, the winner, Gibson the loser in that game, and they're matched up here again today.

Then the Yankees beat the Cardinals in the third game as the series moved to Yankee Stadium by a score of two to one.

The winner in that one, Shultz, the loser.

Mantle hitting the homer in the ninth inning.

And yesterday, Ken Boyer, the hero, along with two superb relief men, Roger Craig, and Ron Taylor,

as the Cardinals even the three to two games apiece, defeating the Yankees by a score four to three.

So game five today, we'll have an open date tomorrow, and game six.
