that turned on the incandescent lights.

Then Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., whose famous father and beloved father, through the key in the White House for the first Major League night game back in 1935,

press the button to turn on the newest thing in lighting for sports events, the Mercury Lights.

The Mercury lights will require seven minutes before they will be what you would term in full bloom

and reach their brightest magnitude.

So the pregame ceremonies have just been completed.
