This afternoon, the Mets meet the Houston Code 45 here at the Polo Ground. Raskina, Bob Murphy and I are on hand to bring you every bit of the action.

The conference continues at home plate between the umpires and managers.

The Coast 45 has got a lineup of the Westfielder Al Spangler leading off.

The veteran Johnny Temple at second base batting second. Peter Ronald's at first, batting third, and right fielder Rusty Staw, batting fourth. Bob Asthmani, playing third base and batting fifth. Ricky Jim Wend, playing shortstop and batting six. Howie Goss is in Centerfield, Betting 7. John Bateman is the catcher batting age, and Skinny Brown is the pitcher of batting night. Now the starting lineup in Batting 1-4, the New York Met. Leading off and playing second base is Juan Hunt. Batting second and playing third-based, Jim Hickman. Duke Snyder is in right-field betting series. Jesse Gonder against behind the plate and batting fourth. Frank Thomas is in left field, batting fifth. Tim Arkansas at first base, batting six. Joe Hicks is in centerfield, batting seven. Larry Burrider, shortstop, batting eight. Jaylen Sisko, the fisher is batting night as the New York Mets takes the field here at the Polo Grounds in New York.

As you probably know, we had showers all around and in the metropolitan area this morning,

and we had a fairly hard rain here at the Polo Grounds.

However, the Enfield was covered, and is an excellent condition.

Al Spangler, a left-hand battery, is coming up to lead off for the Code 45.

He has an average of 269, one home run and 16 runs batted in.

Jim Hickman is on the edge of the grass at third, and here's the first pitch of the game, low for fall one.

The Code 45 is opening up a four-game series with this doubleheader today.

Single game tomorrow night and the single game on Tuesday afternoon.

Cisker's pitch strong on.

And so does it deep to right?

Going, going up to the upper deck, and it's gone for a home ride.

For Spangler, it's the second pitch of the ball game into the yuppreject and right. It is his second home run of this season and the cold 45s are out and brought by a score 1 to nothing.

That brings up Johnny Teffle, the veteran performer,

and second placement for the Gold 45,

hitting 266 this year with 12-run batted-ed-ed-ed-ed.
