How you doing, everybody?

This is Russ Hodges, along with Lon Simmons.

We live this game with baseball every day, 365 days a year.

But sometimes we need a reminder.

Now tell me, Lon, did the Giants really win the pennant in the year 1962?

Well, I think maybe we can let the Giants tell that story, Russ,

but we have to go all the way back to April 10th,

as the braids and the Giants are playing.

They've never seen.

Willie is wearing a batter's helmet this year.

In previous years, he always wore the cap with the plastic inner lining.

But at the request of manager Alvindarck, he went for the full helmet.

He wears it out over his baseball cap.

Bond throws the giant centerfielder.

There's a swing in a long track

and he's left centerfield and you can kill it.

What a way to start off the season.
