Today is an afterglow for the New York Mets,

because last night was one that they'll never forget.

But today is also a new day, and baseball people know one thing above all other.

You play each game.

And the Mets will try to do just that against the Dodgers as they pit Roger Craig against

Dan Williams.

Meanwhile, and make no mistake about this, the Mets are the talk of baseball at this very

moment because of what they did to the Reds almost three weeks ago.
