We're here in Wrigley Field Chicago and, and in a few moments will be all set to bring you the 33rd game in this All-Star series.

Whenever the All-Star game returns to Chicago, as it has today, it means that it's coming back home. Chicago is the city

where the all-star game was born 29 years ago and Chicago is where the

33rd game will be played here at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs of the National League.

And it was the National League Stars, beating the American League All-Stars 3-1 in this summer's

first All-Star game at Washington earlier this month.

The National League will have a chance to draw even

today for the first time in history. At one time the National League trail 12 games to 4,

but now the National League has 15 victories, the American League 16 wins, and there has been one tie.

In the last three games, the two in 1961, at Candlestick Park in San Francisco and Fenway

Park in Boston, and the first game this summer in Washington,

National League pitchers have been tough.

They have held the American League All-Stars

to a total of 12 hits, four in each of the three games.
