After being given a night off, batting in the second position is Hector Lopez.

Mickey Mantle will be in center field, batting third.

Hitting in the cleanup spot playing right field, Roger Maris.

And doing the catching, batting fifth, Yogi Berra.

And Yogue really has a bruised shin.

He was showing it to me in the lobby this afternoon.

He fouled two balls off two different times at bat, right down on the almost the same spot.

And it was really sore.

But he said he was going to play, and he's in there tonight.

Ken Hadley is replacing Bill Scowen at first base.

Hadley will be batting in the sixth position.

And the moose is flying on tonight for treatment of a sprained left wrist,

and he'll probably be out four or five days.

He has it heavily bandaged so as

not to allow too much movement. And that happened when he slid hard in a second base and

rolled over and jammed his wrist into the ground. So once again, scarring is injured and he just

can't seem to get through a full season without getting hurt somewhere.

He's starting to hit the ball hard again.

Cletus Boyer will be at third base, batting in the seventh position, hitting eighth and playing second base, Bobby Richardson, and doing the pitching and batting ninth, Art
