Welcome to Grumpy old geeks episode 196. I am Jason DeFilippo. And I'm

Brian Schultmeister. Guten Tag, Hey Brian. Good morning Jason. How are you? I'm doing okay.

Considering I almost burnt down my house last night, then I brained myself on the stairs,

going to do laundry this morning and landed on my back and can barely sit here anymore.

It's been a fun two days, but you're you are not the most graceful of man.

I tell you man, this getting old thing is just bizarre. Yeah. There's an athlete for so long and

now I'm just a bumbling mess of hot goo. That's about it. That's a good title.

But I was making making some enchiladas last night and I was roasting my tomatillos and didn't

realize I'd put too much olive oil on them when I looked around and the house was filled with

smoke and the dog started going bad shit because she'd never heard a smoke alarm before.

Oh yeah, that can be frightening. Yeah. Yeah. She just kept jumping on me trying to lick my face

to make sure everything was okay because I was so panicked. Which didn't help the situation.

I think you could offer that service to people. I think it would calm people down in these

trying times. Here, have a puppy lick your face. Yeah. Well, when they're 120 pounds and six feet tall,

it's generally a little bit more scary than calming, I think. Okay. I just wanted to throw out a
